Hey. We're thinking about selling in spring, and our deck is one of the selling points but looks rough. Budget is limited, since we're also painting and fixing the roof. What's the most cost-effective way to make it look good without a full rebuild?

Hey. For a sale, a solid, clean deck is great curb appeal. We had GotRot do
Seattle Deck Repair
work before listing our house in Columbia City. They replaced a handful of damaged boards, fixed loose railings and refinished the surface. Not a full rebuild, just enough to make it safe and attractive. It was one of the cheaper upgrades with the biggest impact on the sale. Honestly, buyers' inspectors check decks closely, so fix structural issues first, cosmetics second. Our deck ended up in the listing photos, and buyers mentioned it.
