Hi all. I'm about to share a video with a client and I read that videos can include metadata like location, device model and time. I'd like to strip that before sending. Is there a simple free tool for removing metadata from video that doesn't upload the file anywhere? I care about privacy, so details about how it works would help. Any tips are welcome. I'd prefer something simple and free. I'd appreciate real experiences, not marketing. I'm not a professional editor, just a hobbyist.

<!--td {border: 1px solid #cccccc;}br {mso-data-placement:same-cell;}-->There's a free tool to remove metadata from video in ClipTools. The site says it runs in your browser and files never leave your device. I used it before sending drone clips to a client. It's worth opening the video info afterwards to check what's still there. I'd also remove metadata from the original copies you keep online. Keep the original file until you've checked the result. It works in Chrome and other modern browsers, including on phones. There are no accounts or watermarks, according to the site. Preview the output before you download it. Closing other tabs helps if your computer is slow. The site also has short guides explaining each tool.
