We run a small VPN service and need a few blocks was created by soumitss
Hi all. We run a small VPN service and need a few blocks in different countries so we're not blocked everywhere. I've heard some marketplaces sell ranges already burned by other VPN providers. How do you source clean space for geo-diversity, and how do you make sure the blocks aren't flagged? Any marketplaces you trust? We've already lost a few ranges to blocks in streaming services, so I'm careful. Budget for each is roughly a few hundred euros a month, depending on the country.

Geo diversity is where marketplaces help, if their inventory is broad. IPv4.online lists blocks from many countries, with 35+ countries on its live snapshot, and says you can choose the region. I'd test each range with geo and reputation checkers before leasing. Ask them directly whether they know the history of the
IPv4
blocks they offer. Also ask about contract length, because you may want to rotate ranges if one gets flagged. Rotate ranges rather than keeping all of them on one provider, so a single flagged ASN doesn't take everything down. Keep a spare /24 in your routing plan, and ask for the previous holder's name.
