Did you noticed some gamma display viewport display strange behavior under max2010 ?

i explain : with max 2009, when you change (via SR or manually) max display gamma value, textures in viewport change immediatly to match the new gamma value. This settings helps SR to always show the gamma into the viewport.

With max 2010, whatever the gamma value i specify in max prefs, the textures in viewport stays same. no gamma applied on them.
I find that just odd, and not logical... perhaps i've missed something. I've asked to autodesk team why this new behavior.

So actually with max2010 SR can't refelct the real gamma applied on textures in the vieport(s). Strange...
Did you encounter the same behavior ?

I'm getting that odd gamma behavior too. It's not too much of a problem, but that damn 3ds gamma warning dialog pops up constantly - when opening SR, after clicking render, and after render is finished.
