Hello !
SR is changing gamma while working and while rendering. It's the only way to keep consistent gamma workflow. At least if you use the max frame bufffer.
you can ask SR to not manage anything on gamma, for that just open the preview panel and uncheck the "gamma" button.
After that you can manage your gamma settings a you wish.
